Day 15- DONE SON!

Well I have to admit I almost forgot to blog, its been yet another exhausting day! Im headed to bed right now, I promise to write more tomarrow, but I am finished!! with the apartment in JC!! YeAH!!

15 Down-350 to go!

Day 14- A day to do nothing

As exhausted as I was yesterday you would think I would have had no problem going to sleep last night. Well that proved to be wrong, but mostly for the fact that I got thinking about Zach and I and how we had been dating almost a year (it will be a year on Thursday). And started missing him terribly. And didn't fall asleep until 4:30am. But I decided to just relax today since my body was still sore from the past two days of packing/unpacking etc. So until 4:00pm I was still in my PJ's which was rather nice. We went out to Village Inn with my inlaws (we go out to dinner before girl scouts each week). Had a total idiot of a waitress. But got our dinner to include desert in a decent amount of time enough to get to scouts.

Oh Zach called today we had a really nice chat. We talked for about 30 minutes! Oh but of course he called when I had been on Hold with Unemployment for 30 min waiting. Oh well, it was worth it! I cant wait until he gets up north and is able to have internet in his CHU!

At scouts tonight I became the new Troop Leader for the Brownie Troop since Darlene is moving. We had a nice time, although a few of the Daisy's had meltdowns.

There is a campout in two weeks its a Father/Daughter campout! But Rainer (Zach's Brother) is taking Ally so she still gets to go! She is so excited!

Tomorrow we are headed back up to JC to make one final load and clear out of the APT! I cant wait! well im headed to bed!

14 Down- 351 to go!

For the Record

For the Record!! Ally is FIRED from Unpacking!! That girl only drags out toys then leaves them on the floor!! So shes FIRED until Further notice!

Day 13- Exhaustion Continued

Ok well I'll continue from yesterday and get through as much as possible even though today has been thoroughly exhausting as well.

So Yesterday morning as I turned onto I-135 N. I was accelerating and waiting for my cruise control to kick off when it reached cruising speed, it kept going faster and faster it got to 85 MPH and then I realized that the Uhaul doesn't have Cruise Control and it was my foot! Needless to say I was Mentally tired in the morning. So about 45 minutes after I left, I called Katie and we ended up talking almost our entire trip back to JC since we were both tired. We got to JC and went on post to the PX, grabbed some coffee then headed to the APT we worked all day, and a little after we got there, Martina and Marissa came over, Marissa is about a month and a half older than Kaylee so the babies had a grand time playing all day! We had lunch at Cracker Barrell. and at 7 had a completely full truck and an almost empty apartment. So I am sworn to go back to it on Wednesday, to do the last little bit! Martina is coming over to help as well as Tuyet, so we should get it knocked out in no time!! and be home with time to spare!

On my way home last night Kaylee slept for an hour then all of a sudden woke up screaming, so I pulled over to feed her, then as I put her back in her carseat she started screaming again about 10 seconds later she started throwing up all over. So I had to change her, feed her again then calm her down, however, the calming her down didn't do much since she preceded to scream almost the entire rest of the way home until she finally cried her self to sleep. I got home EXTREEMLY tired so I just got us both ready for bed and went to sleep.

Zach called at 4am, we didn't talk for long but at least he called. Kaylee woke up at 8 with allergies so I gave her her allergy medicine then we both went back to sleep. I woke up about 10 and decided to try to get some stuff done while Kaylee was still asleep. Linda (Zach's Aunt) brought back Ally on a Sugar High shortly afternoon. And my mother in law showed up to watch the girls shortly after 1. She took the girls on a bike ride/walk while I began to unload the truck, I had about 2/3 of it done by the time she got back. It was a beautiful day outside and Kaylee seemed content to play in her exersaucer on the porch so Nancy helped me unload the rest of the truck to include the gun cases! I returned the Uhaul got my car back and came home!!

For dinner the girls and I walked to Spangles which is only 2 blocks away, after dinner we walked to Dillons which was about 8 blocks from Spangles. Then we walked home!! Needless to say we got our exercise today! Im glad tomorrow is more of a down day! Then one more BIG day of moving! sheesh!! Will it ever end?

Well 13 days down!! 252 to go!!

Day 12-EXHAUSTING!!

Well I rolled out of bed and was dressed and on the road earlier than I have been since the Day Zach left! (0630 to be precise) I drove over to the Uhaul joint and dropped off my car and switched Kaylee (in her carseat) to the Uhaul. We drove and drove, she talked to me for quite a while.

I am so exhausted at the present moment from the entire day that Im going to cut this short and catch you up to speed tomorrow.

12 Down - 353 to go!

Day 11- Same Cold Different Day

Well, I dont know what it is about Friday nights but for the past 3 I have had bad stomach aches resulting in not much sleep. So again I opted out of going to church. About 2 I headed out to the Uhaul place (which is not the one I have been using right near my house its WAY on the other side of town!) So when I got there I realized that there are only 2 seats in it! Not 3! Which creates a problem. however, I called Aunt Linda and so Ally went over there tonight. Which was a total life saver! And needless to say Ally was excited all afternoon about going, infact almost to the point that I didn't get a good nap! Who needs an alarm clock when you have an Ally?

The house is VERY quiet tonight, Kaylee went to bed shortly after we got back from dropping Ally off. I watched Ace of Cakes (they did a really cool Serenity cake) I ate some ramen, and really missed the Ramyon (cheese) from Korea with a Peach 2% water!! Those were the days!! Then I condensed some more boxes, and now Im going to head to bed in hopes my husband calls in the middle of the night.

Kinda a blah day............I cant wait to be done with the other apt!

11 down -----------354 to go!

Day 10- Laundry, Laundry and yet MORE Laundry

Well, needless to say you can see what the main focus of my day has been. I've been doing a ton of laundry, but Im the type of person that if stuff has been in storage for a year (out door storage) I have to wash it Before Im going to wear it even if I washed it before I put it in storage. So I've just been doing loads of laundry (I know bad pun)! I have also started sorting out clothes that are too small for the girls and clothes that belong to Zach and putting them into their perspective bins.

I also had to do an extra load of my bedding because this morning I was going to change Kaylee, I laid her on my bed and went to get the diaper and wipes and while I was doing that, she exploded!! I mean EVERYWHERE it was gross!!

We did take a break however and go out to the Carriage Crossing out in Yoder (there is a reason they call it that). We went out there to Celebrate Grandpa Leepers Birthday. The bread is SOOO Yummy and fresh! I ate almost half a loaf by myself! (Really I did!) Ally at all of her food and got to have an ice cream treat!! Which was so large she couldn't even finish it.

Tonight when we got home I was folding laundry on my bed (imagine that) and all of a sudden I heard something in my closet, I looked and my clothes were moving, then the ones next to it started moving and progressing down the line of clothes. Recon had jumped up and was hanging onto all the sleeves climbing on my clothes, (I have no idea why) I scared her so she jumped down knocking down two of my sweaters. She is bugging Teddy right now, which makes it a little difficult for me to concentrate so I yell at her every few seconds. We plan on getting her fixed when we get back from Colorado, hopefully that will mellow her out some.

I didn't hear from Zach today, but I did hear from Dan and I found out that the sensitive items milvan had come in so Zach was doing that stuff (hes the unit armor).

Oh, the Uhaul place called me today to confirm my reservation, they didn't have the truck I had reserved in JC or Manhattan, so I ended up having to be able to pick up the truck here in Hutch and drive round trip to JC in the moving truck. They are giving me a free extra day and 120 miles so its not costing me anything extra except in fuel. So I think I'll probably head up there after church sometime tomorrow so I can get a head start on packing stuff before Katie comes up Sunday.

Well 10 days down------355 to go!

Until tomarrow!

Day 9-March Madness

Well today wasn't a half bad day. It started out fairly well. Girls woke up at a decent time Zach called shortly after lunch and I got to talk to him for about 15 minutes, which was great. I wanted to talk to him about selling Scentsy. But hadn't had the chance until today to ask him what he thought about me doing it. I had done some research into it, and we talked and decided that I can give it a try to help keep busy and to maybe make a little extra cash. So Im pretty excited about that I've already booked a couple shows and I haven't even officially started yet!
I got an ok nap today, even though Ally kept coming in and asking me to check my phone (to see if quiet time was over). I think Im going to get a timer for her room and just set it so if I do want to take a nap she wont bother me! LOL. Oh and before nap time I got to have a quick but great conversation with my BFF Caroline via Skype since shes in Iraq.

Ally and I were discussing where we should eat dinner tonight. She said if we went to Spangles that I had to tell them that she couldn't have a coloring book (the toy) because she was in trouble. Shes not in trouble she just has about 10 of the same coloring books and didn't want another one. Shes so silly, but we ended up going to Wendy's anyway.
I did quite a bit of laundry today and made quite a bit of progress in unpacking the rest of these boxes. I hope to finish up tomorrow, that way I can have a day of rest before I go get more from the JC house to unpack. Im finding all sorts of clothes that I USED to be able to fit into. So once I get settled down Im going to start working out and trying to loose some weight! Ally is so funny, she wanted to help me with laundry. by hanging up clothes, well she started hanging up dirty clothes, I told her they were dirty, and she said, "I haven't seen you wear this". Silly girl. So I just let her hang things up and tonight after she went to bed I put them back in the dirty clothes.

I dont know if I've told you about this Bathring/Seat thing we got from Freecycle a few months ago, but its a great thing. Kaylee loves sitting in it, and Ally likes it because they can take baths together. Its really fun to watch them play!! (well its always fun to watch them interact, Kaylee really loves her sissy!) But this Ring is GREAT!! Kaylee can't fall forward and get her face in the water reaching for stuff, but she can still splash and have a great time!
I attempted to watch Grey's Anatomy tonight, however, it was all about Assisted suicide and Owen was having flashbacks to Iraq which was WAY to close to home and brought out my PTSD and put me in quite the funk. I couldn't even bring myself to watch Private Practice.

I turned off the TV and came back to my room and started talking to a couple of friends online, then I started watching the end of the K-State/Xavier game (Sweet 16) I was also talking to my Mother in Law online as we were watching, it went to Double over time before the Wildcats FINALLY won!! It was CRAZY but a great game! I got more loads of laundry done too! So its later then I had originally intended on going to bed, but seeing them win and go to the elite 8 was worth it! And I dont even LIKE basketball!

Tomorrow is Fiona's 7th Birthday! For those of you who don't know, Fiona is the baby I placed in an open adoption, well 7 years ago. She lives in Colorado and we still visit from time to time. I just can't believe she'll be 7, or actually I can't believe all that has happened in 7 years since I had her!! Both blow my mind to think about (as Zaboo from Zaboomafoo, Ally's favorite show says, I can't believe my mind!")

Well 9 down, 356 to go!

Day 8- Rain Rain Go AWAY!!

Well, I fell asleep shortly after I blogged last night, however I was waken at 0130 for a phone call from my husband which was great! I miss him so much and I absolutely Love him more everyday.

I roused myself about 930. To get up and get the girls ready, because Wednesday is Roy's day!! And today we were taking GG (Zachs Grandma) to Roy's for her birthday. So after we got ready we went and picked up GG and went to Roy's turns out (I had forgotten this fact) that GG and Anne (the owner of Roy's) used to work at Sears YEARS ago! and GG hadn't been out to Roy's for a few years so I think she had fun. We then took Katie some Roy's since she never is able to go either.

Ally was trying to convince me that Kaylee wasn't tired and we needed to stay at GG's, well GG invited Ally to stay and play. So I took her up on it and enjoyed a WONDERFUL UNINTERRUPTED 3 hour nap! with Kaylee and Recon!

After my very restful nap I paid my water bill and went to pick up Ally, we picked up Spangles, and headed over to my mother in laws. On the way over, Ally asked me what a "Hita" was. I told her I didn't know then she tried to tell me it was the biggest mushroom in the world even bigger than a giraffe! I told her whatever and she was silly. She then told me, it was like a little Taco thing. I said, oh a FA-JITA. Strange random thought yet again from my 5 year old!

We went to my Mother-In-Laws church and made "Resurrection Eggs" Which is a really cool Idea and I had seen them at my friend Trudy's last year for Easter.

We came home watched, "America's Next Top Model" "Survivor" then I put the girls to bed and watched "Shear Genius".

Oh during the thing at the Church I booked 2 Graduation Cakes. and now it looks like the BIG red cake I did, the bride is booking me for her daughters birthday cake!! Im getting pretty busy and loving it.

Tomorrow I am committed to finish unpacking my house (I know, just so I can bring in more boxes to unpack!).

8 days down--------357 to go!!

Day 7- One week down

Well it seems FAR longer than just a week since Zach has left, but alas a week is all it has been. I didn't get to sleep until 4:30 this morning and even then Im not quite sure you could even classify it as sleep. Im going to make the direct correlation to my lack of sleep to the lack of communication from my husband I've had lately.

At 7:30 my alarm went off to go to this Free Pastry day, but even the thought of a 142 degree White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha and a free Pastry could not drag me out of bed. But as it turns out it all worked out since my mother in law had fallen asleep in her chair and didn't wake up until 9:30.

I woke up for "good" around 8:30 and continued to putz around the house all morning. After lunch I attempted to take a nap but after finally getting Kaylee asleep she ended up only taking an hour nap. So much for a nice 3 hr nap!

After quiet time we went out to Burrton where my father in law and his wife live. We stayed out there for about an hour then headed back in, as we were leaving the farm, Ally started complaining about how hungry she was! By the time we reached Hutch ( a 20 min drive) She was positive she was starving to death! She saw a gas station and said, pull over at that rest stop they have LOTS of food! But I kept driving then she told me she could only make it to Spangles but couldn't make it the next two blocks to our house. I ended up deciding that Sonic looked good to me so thats where we went.

Today marks the 2nd day Zach hasn't called which is rather distressing and I started to get in a funk tonight and actually ended up breaking down while the girls and I were watching the Biggest Loser. You dont realize how much these calls mean to those at home until you are on the receiving end (or non-receiving end in this case)

Katie and I are set for Sunday to finish up the JC Apt. Which I'll be glad to be done with for good however I still have a few more boxes to finish going through here before I'll be ready to go up there and do it.

Well we have 7 down, 358 to go!!

Until tomorrow night.

Oooppss!! I forgot

I forgot to mention that I got a GREAT Review for the Wedding cake I did 2 weeks ago!! I posted it on the Celtic Cakes website which I finished the other day. Here is the link.

You can also become a fan of Celtic Corner Cakes & Catering on Facebook!!

Day 6-An absolutly Unproductive day

Well today was more of a recovery day more than anything. For the first time since Zach left I was in bed and ASLEEP before midnight ( I think I fell asleep about 10:30). I woke up at 7 and about 8 let Kaylee play in her exersaucer while Ally ate breakfast and watched Sprout. Ally LOVES the little oranges (Clementines) and ate 3 of them and a cup of yogurt for breakfast! I let her have as many as she wants because I figure the Extra Vitamin C she will get will help her stay well (notice shes the only one who hasn't been sick so far. I meanwhile tried to nap a little more but was HIGHLY unsuccessful. At 11:30 I fixed lunch for Ally and myself, and she ate her entire lunch and decided she wanted 2 more clementines for dessert! I got the girls down for quiet time, I watched the episode of Apprentice that I was too tired to watch last night, then laid down for a nap myself with Kaylee. After nap time, I went and picked up some clothing off of free-cycle (Some business suits that I can wear for consults :D) and then we went over to Grandma Bass's to take her pictures and visit for a little bit. We visited, for about an hour (many conversations were repeated) She will be 81 tomorrow and on Wednesday we are going to treat her to Roy's.

We came home and on the entire ride home Ally was taxing my nerves arguing that she didn't want pizza and that we couldn't eat supper at home we had to eat out. We finally got home and I figured out that she would accept Mac N Cheese for supper. I fixed it for her, and as we were eating I noticed that the cats were acting hungry so I asked her to feed them, about 10 minutes later she hadn't returned so I asked her what she was doing, she was cleaning out the cat box. She said, "its really dirty mom, so Im scooping it out!" What a great kid!! (totally making up for the getting on my nerves earlier"

We watched Dancing with the Stars tonight and I am duly impressed by Buzz Aldrin at the age of 80 the incredible shape he is in to compete at that level!

Tomorrow is free pastry day at Starbucks. So Im meeting my mother in law and some of her friends and Starbucks at 8 in the am (which is earlier than I have been up all week) to get our free pastry, and Im hoping that tomorrow will be a much more productive day then today was, even though I needed it to get better from this cold.

6 down, 359 to go!

Until tomorrow..............

Day 5-Cold, Concerts and Deep Fried Ice Cream

Well after I last posted, my cold continued to get worse, In face at one point I went out to my car and searched for cold medicine that may have been left out there by accident, with no luck. I was up until almost 4 am when I was finally able to fall asleep. I guess I fell asleep a little to soundly because Ally came in at 6 to tell me Kaylee was crying. So then I was able to sleep a little more until about 1000 when Kaylee decided it was time to get up, I had planned to go back to sleep until it was time to get up to go to lunch but Zach called shortly there after and we had a nice chat.

We went to lunch with my mother in law her husband and her parents at this pretty decent Mexican place. Where despite the fact that I was sick I HAD to have the deep fried Ice cream, for some reason its just one of those have to have comfort foods.

After we ate the girls and I came back to the house where I laid down with Kaylee and we took a 3 hr nap. Afterward we went to a Cavalry Echos concert which was really nice, although Ally has WAY to much energy and a shorter attention span. I went over to hook up my mother in laws wii fit and new web cam.

My head feels like its going to explode so Im going to bed early and hoping tomarrow brings better feelings so I can get stuff done!

5 down-360 to go!

Day 4-Colds, Hangers and Ramen Soup

Today wasn't the greatest of days. After I posted last night, I started feeling sick again. When I woke up I still wasn't feeling the greatest so I opted not to take the girls to church. Kaylee still had a runny nose. So after this afternoons nap, I went to Walgreens and picked her up some cold meds and another nose sucker since it seems I left the other 10 we have at our JC house.

Zach called at shortly after noon. He talked to Ally for 10 minutes. He and I also had a nice chat. I Miss him so much and I think I was even more frustrated after his call. Since everything seems to be coming down.

I want to get my house clean, and unpacked then just start to live! The boxes are driving me insane. Tomorrow I want to get it all picked up and do a lot of laundry. Then after next weekend I'll unpack the rest of the stuff from our JC house then I'll be good to go, and this is precisely WHY the army is moving me COMPLETELY when we move back on post in FEB!

When I went out to Walgreens I decided to swing by the dollar store to get some clothes hangers, since all mine are well, still hanging in the closet in JC! And I needed some to hang up laundry after doing it! So I searched all around the store and found ONE pack in the return cart and bought it but how crazy is it that they only had one???? Stupid. Oh well, 10 will do me for a minute or two. I'll probably stop by a different store and get some tomorrow.

The red wedding cake I did last week's bride found me on Facebook, and she had some great pics of the cake I did, so of course Im including them with tonight's post.

I feel like junk at the moment so Im going to try and go to bed and hope I feel better tomorrow.

4 down 361 to go!

Day 3-Another wedding cake

Well, Day three was pretty uneventful, although I did get to talk to my wonderful husband this morning, which was GREAT! Then I finished my 2nd wedding cake for my business, it turned out really well. And I used a new type of Fondant, I will NEVER go back to my previous fondant!

Its SNOWING currently which is Crazy because it was 65 degrees out yesterday! My parents have gotten 9 inches so far!! I HOPE it doesn't get that deep here, but if it does, Im sure the girls and I will HAVE to go out and play in it!

Gave the girls a bath tonight, together for the first time. I got a ring thing Kaylee sits in and it works GREAT!

Well not much else to report on, just reporting in.

3 Down, 262 to go!!

Day 2- Laundry, Cakes and my Gun

Well shortly after my last post. I heard sirens and then saw ominous blue lights flashing thru my blinds. It was at this time I realized that I had left my gun in the glove box of my car. They were out there for at least 45 minutes. I found out later today, that a woman had run from the cops and it had ended when she ran into a tree! Evidently which was located on the street perpendicular to my house! But now, my gun is inside and will be within reach should the occasion ever arise that I might need it.

Kaylee for some reason decided she wanted to get up and play this morning at 7. So she did for about an hour then went back to sleep. We woke back up at a little after 11. I decided to dig into laundry (which was quite a task because last night I unpacked several boxes of just clothes) I ordered Pizza for lunch. After quiet time, the girls and I went over to my mother in laws to set up her skype and help her learn how to upload videos to Youtube. While there she was talking about a concert she and Butch were going to attend that evening, Ally said, "I want to go, what is a concert?" She ended up going and had a lot of fun dancing to the bluegrass music.

Kaylee and I went to the cake decorating store, and grocery store, got home and did more laundry.

Tonight I have been baking yet more wedding cake, thank goodness this weeks is A LOT smaller than last weeks however its more intricate I will post pics to marrow when its finished.

Last night while I was unpacking these boxes I found my most favorite pants EVER!! These purple parachute pants that I absolutely love!! I am stoked.

Didn't hear from Zach today which was a little disappointing. Ally ran to the phone when ever it rang asking if it was Zach. She did however go to bed/sleep with no tears, but I think its because I set up Kaylee's Pack n Play in her room and Kaylee is sleeping with her (along with Recon the cat)

We received another blessing/show of support today, Nancy's neighbor offered to clean out his shed so we can park Zach's Chevelle in it! (its outside of Nancy's Shed currently)

So we have 2 down and 363 to go!!

Until to marrow night!

Day 1-Part 2

I forgot to mention how touched I have been by the outpouring of love, support and prayers. These were two of the status's on FB yesterday:

Roy's Hickory Pit BBQ Hutchinson, KS Wishing God Speed to Zach Bass on his deployment to Iraq today. We will keep the home fires burning. Thanks for all you do. God Bless You. God Bless America.

Tuyet Dawson I met the bravest little girl this morning. She greeted me with a smile, but was fighting back the tears. Her Daddy deployed from Ft. Riley early this morning, for his fourth tour in Iraq. Little Miss Allie- You are my hero. Thank you.

and I have received many emails, texts and messages of support and prayers. It truly means a lot to myself , Zach and the girls. I now have even better confidence that we will make it through this year. There will be hard days and easy days, but we will get through it!!! thank you!

Day 1- Catching up.

I ended up going to bed at almost 3am. And only because at about 2:30 I got a call from Zach in Germany. I tried to wake Ally up but she was OUT so she didn't get to talk to him and I heard about it in the am.

Kaylee woke me up at 10am. I was surprised to find that Ally wasn't even awake yet! But about 10:15 she came out of her room. We spent about 15 minutes finding Green clothes for all three of us to wear so we wouldn't get pinched.

We went to Roy's for Lunch. Roy's is Zach's all time FAVORITE BBQ!! And I have to say, even for Vegetarians like myself its really YUMMY food! While there we got to see a "leprechaun" (a lady dressed like one with a pot of chocolate gold). We came home for quiet time after Roy's. I decided to lay down with Kaylee thinking I would only sleep maybe an hour, yeah right! I woke up at 3:30!! Oh well, I guess I needed the nap.

I went over to my mother in laws picked up some stuff I had over there and borrowed a hammer (so I can hang up pictures). Shortly after I left, my phone rang and my stupid GPS picked up the phone, it was Zach and instead of me pushing the button to give it back to my cell I terminated the call!! SO, I hoped he would be able to call me right back! He did!! Ally got to talk to him for a minute, it was 1am his time so we talked for about 10 minutes then he left. But we should be able to chat tomorrow at some point.

I drove to a town not far away to pick up some clothes for Kaylee then back to Hutch and picked up some infant cereal also from Free cycle. Then we hit up Spangles again. We got home at

Tonight I tucked Ally in but she DID NOT want to sleep in her bed, when I was tucking in Kaylee Ally came in crying about how she missed Zach so I let her sleep on a mattress on the floor by my bed ( if you ever slept with her and got kicked ALL night you would understand why I wont let her sleep ON my bed!) Kaylee was a bit fussy tonight, while I was calming her down, Ally came up and started singing to Kaylee and rubbing her tummy! it was so incredibly sweet and she got Kaylee to sleep!

I have A LOT to do or attempt to do tomorrow, to include, getting groceries, making a wedding cake (just the baking part, decorating is Friday), getting a title for the Taurus, and I would really like to get my kitchen painted.

Our Cat Teddy, whom we adopted a little over a year ago and worked 6 months with before we could even pet him, right before we moved he would sleep on the bed with us, come out even with company over and was just about a normal cat that was just a little shy, when we moved him down here he started hiding again and reverting back to when we adopted him, however last night he slept with me and let me love him up really good! So thats great! We think maybe he was just waiting for us to be here, and understand that we live here too!

Well Im sure I've rambled enough..........so until tomarrow............

2 Down 363 to go!

Deployment Day

So today was the day, the day Ive been dreading for some time now. Needless to say I dont think I slept but maybe 1/2 an hour last night and even that was a nightmare. About 4 o'clock Zach, Ally, Kaylee and I had a last snuggle on our bed. Then it was time to head to the hangar.

I've decided that it as much easier to leave then to stay behind. Even though leaving is no joke either. After a long emotionally exhausting day it is good to be home. After tucking Ally in bed, she came out crying asking if we could call Zach, it was enough to break your heart.

We will make it, but its going to be a LONG journey! I heard from Zach a couple times today the last being about 4 this afternoon when he was getting ready to leave Detroit for Germany.

So until tomarrow.........

D day -a few hours

Well the day I have been dreading has finally crept up on me. And with just a few hours remaining until I have to tell my husband goodbye I cant even begin to express my feelings. The past few days have been filled with many random outbursts of tears and trying to enjoy every possible moment I can with him.

We had family pictures taken this past weekend. And that really means a lot to me and Im thankful we got to do it.

My mother in law is in town to drive the girls and I back tomarrow after the ceremony. Even though my apartment is no where near being clean enough to clear it, I will be back in two weeks to finish, hopefully by then I will be able to collect myself enough to just do it.

This Army wife thing isn't a joke!! Thats for sure, in fact I think its almost harder than living the army life! I'll post more when Im up to it.
